The GW-1250 is an automatic gross weight bagging scale designed to handle free flowing granular products into open mouth bags.
Typical bag weights may vary between 25 to 60 Kg (other bag weights can be handled upon request). Normal speeds and accuracies are 3,5 bags/minute (for sp.gr. 0,75 gr/cm3), plus/minus 50 gr.
The GW-1250 model in its standard version is a full electronic weighing machine, that requires minimum maintenance and operates with high reliability and accuracy.

General design characteristics:
  • Rugged steel frame
  • Two electropneumatically operated slide gates for accurate dosing of the pre-set bag weight (fine and coarse speed)
  • Storage hopper of suitable volume (600 lt)
  • 2 high accuracy load cells with their mounting parts and stainless steel junction box
  • Weigh hopper equipped with special pneumatically operated bag clamp;
  • Heavy duty pneumatic cylinders with internal air piping/hoses connected to the dedicated air service unit which comes complete with filter, regulator, lubricator and valves;
  • State-of-the-art control unit in IP54 wall mounted housing, comprising the digital indicator/controller model D500BC-BOS, as well as a complete set of operator controls, such as: On/off switch, Hold/run switch, Discharge push button, Signal lamps for coarse-fine feed, batch complete, discharge, and Emergency switch.

Bag counter and totaliser are also integrated in the control panel.
The operational parameters are pre-set over the keyboard of the D500BC-BOS controller;

VERSIONS
GW-1250/G
  • Constructed as a gravity feeder and used for handling free flowing granular products such as cereals, plastic granules, fertilizer, sugar. The flow of product into the bag is precisely controlled by two gates.
GWE-1250/SC
  • Used when handling powdery products such as flour, chemical powder. The product is fed into the bag by means of a dual auger feeding system and electro-pneumatically controlled gate for immediate cut-off of the product flow when the preset weight is reached.
